Culture Journalist & Copywriter

I'm a freelance culture journalist and copywriter with 5+ years' experience across journalism, copywriting, research, PR and social media.

I have a gold-standard NCTJ journalism diploma from News Associates, with bylines in NME, Rolling Stone UK, The Guardian, Dance Magazine and more. I have covered events like London Film Festival and Extinction Rebellion protests, and interviewed talent including Katy Perry, Stormzy, Ellie Goulding, Rosamund Pike, Mark Ronson, Beabadoobee, Maggie Rogers, David Oyelow, Lauv and more.

I'm also a copywriter, having written blog posts, guest articles, biographies, press releases and website copy for 30+ brands and businesses across tech and various creative industries.

I am the editor-in-chief of my own co-run online publication The Irish Dance Globe, a hub for everything Irish dance, including monthly digital cover stories with world champions, professional dancers and viral TikTok stars.

While I'm mostly London-based, I love to travel and I'm a firm believer that work is where the WiFi is, having worked remotely from Spain, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand in the last year.
